About Me:
Hi! I’m Kelsey, a third-year medical student pursuing a career in pediatrics and have always loved working with children. During my gap year before medical school, I taught high school math and coached JV soccer, and I’ve continued working with kids through babysitting and tutoring. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, engaged, and encouraged to learn.
Education & Safety Training:
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Health & Medical Sciences from a Georgia school. I am certified in pediatric and adult CPR and Advanced Life Support, so safety and preparedness are always a top priority when caring for children.
Childcare Experience:
Through my medical training, I have cared for children ranging from just seconds old to 18 years old. I have also babysat and nannied children from 3 months to 14 years old and have experience working with children with a variety of learning styles and developmental needs. My background in teaching and tutoring helps me connect easily with kids and keep them engaged.
Hobbies & Interests:I enjoy staying active, spending time at the beach, reading, and doing creative activities with kids like games, crafts, and outdoor play.
Why I Love Working with Kids:
Children are curious, creative, and full of energy. I love helping them learn new things, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
