☀️ Sun Suncatcher Craft shared by Mary Charles
Bring some sunshine inside with this easy, cheerful craft! Kids will love collecting bright yellow and orange flowers to create their own sun suncatchers for the window. Perfect for celebrating summer and it’s simple enough for all ages!
What you need:
Sun template (printable)
Flower petals (yellow, orange, or whatever you find!)
Yellow construction paper (or paint your own)
Clear contact paper
Scissors
How to make it:
Print and cut out the sun template. Trace it onto yellow paper or cardboard.
Cut out the sun shape and inner circle.
Add a circle of clear contact paper to the back of the sun so the sticky side shows through the middle.
Gather flowers - marigolds, daisies, dandelions, or any yellow blooms you like.
Press flower petals onto the sticky side of the contact paper. Kids can make patterns or place them randomly for a fun surprise look.
